Make sure the home health care agency you are considering has proper credentials.

Questions to ask:
  • Is the agency licensed by the state to provide the services you need?
  • Is the agency bonded?
  • Is the agency certified to accept payment from your health insurance provider?
  • What are the normal hours of operation and what happens if you need care after normal hours?
  • Ask your friends and neighbors if they are familiar with the agency.
